With the Datafox EVO 3.5 Universal IP66 and IP69K, Datafox offers a terminal for use in the most demanding conditions. The housing and connection cable comply with protection classes IP66 and IP69K and can even withstand high-pressure cleaners with hot water.

With its slim format, the time & access terminal also fits perfectly in - or on - charging stations & co. This makes it ideal, for example, for use in car washes, in production and for areas where high-pressure cleaners are used for cleaning (such as slaughterhouses, food processing, etc.).

The terminal can also be installed on commercial vehicles. As the materials are resistant to salt water, it can also be used in harbors, e.g. for check-in or charging stations. Berth and charter management are also possible areas of application here. Thanks to the access control and TCP/IP module installed as standard, as well as the popular RFID and barcode/QR code options, a combination of data capture, authorization control, release and visualization is always possible.

HTTPS

Datafox devices can exchange data with your server application directly via the secure and standardized HTTPS protocol. Your application acts as the HTTPS server, and as soon as data is available for transmission on the device, it is actively sent to the server. This approach enables efficient server operation, with a connection between the device and server existing only when data is being exchanged.

DFCOM API

The DFCom API provides an interface for remote control of devices. This proprietary interface is available as an open-source runtime library for Windows and Linux systems and is designed for fully encrypted communication via a direct, bidirectional connection. It allows you to perform actions on devices (e.g., switching relays or updating list data) even if the device is not actively transmitting data records.
