devin - Barcode & RFID Management for LogiScan

The Android app devin enables the transfer of data scanned by the barcode scanner or RFID reader of an android-based LogiScan to the keyboard buffer or the Android clipboard. Alternatively, a broadcast message is also possible. Thus, the barcode scanner and RFID reader can serve as a data source for any app.

Functions of the app at a glance:

  • A keycode and a prefix can be assigned to each input device.
  • Prefixes and suffixes for all input devices together can be specified.
  • The passed string can be terminated with Enter or TAB.
  • The scanned data can be output as a message.
  • Apps can change the scanner settings.

aiBrowser - for Barcode & RFID Applications

The Android-App aiBrowser interacts with the Android-App devin and enables the transfer of data scanned with the barcode scanner or RFID reader of an android-based LogiScan into web applications. The aiBrowser is HTML-5 compatible and is usable for modern JavaScript-based web applications (such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV). The optional kiosk mode prevents access to the system.

  • Default URL to be called when starting aiBrowser can be set.
  • Passing of scan data with JavaScript function call or by KeyUp/KeyDown events.
  • Auto login functionality for password protected web pages.
  • Save and load settings to/from configuration file.

The Android app aiInventur interacts with the Android app devin. aiInventur is used to demonstrate barcode scanner and/or RFID reader and can be used for simple inventories with android-based LogiScan.
