The CX2172 complies with current European lock standards and fits all doors (whether made of wood, steel or aluminum) with a backset of more than 20 mm and a thickness of 30 mm to 100 mm. Even the installation in fire and smoke protection doors is possible. A low battery condition is indicated by an acoustic signal. The battery can be replaced easily. 

Visually, the lever handle fits into a wide variety of room concepts thanks to its simple stainless steel design and can be adapted to individual wishes with various rose and lever handle shapes. Those who place more value on robustness should opt for the weatherproof outdoor version of the CX2172 with IP66.
